Improved broadband services are set to be introduced across the Scottish Highlands by the service provider BT, which is all set to upgrade internet services in telephone exchanges across Scotish Highlands.
The broadband service provider, which offers various bundles featuring digital TV and home phone services, has agreed a deal with the Scotland government to upgrade telephone exchanges in several locations of the country.
The move is expected to benefit many people including businesses which need a competitive advantage in the current economic downturn.
Earlier last month, BT had confirmed the launch of a new fibre optic broadband service for both homes and businesses. Connection speeds of up to 40Mbps are available through the platforms.
